Men get a bad a rap. And with gems like John Edwards on the forefront of manhood these days, it's easy to see why. But the truth is, one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch. And we can learn a lot from men, both the bright and the dumb ones...

This was my first oil painting, Lust. the lips are painted in Cadmium Red directly from the tube – I love how bright and strong that red is!

What can I say, I needed to see some rolling fields, bright sunshine and the allusion to a warm day.

The date was October 14, 1947. The new branch of military service in the United States, the United States Air Force was almost a month old. That morning, a B-29 took off from Edwards Air Force Base and began a flight that would make history. Attached to the plane was a much smaller one, painted a bright orange color.
