Being gay may soon be punishable by death in the African country of Uganda. Under proposed legislation, homosexual or lesbian Ugandans would face life in prison, people who �aid or abet� them could serve up to 7 years, and those being convicted of same-sex rape or having HIV/AIDS would be executed.
